About us

A local crew, built around the tide

Sundarban Travel Agency has run river passages out of Godkhali for years, pairing forest-department licensed naturalist guides with small, low-wake houseboats. We plan every departure around the tide table, not the clock, so whatever the delta shows you — a pug mark on a mudbank, a crocodile at low tide, a creek full of fireflies — you're there to see it.

Royal Bengal tiger

Strong swimmers, known to cross tidal channels between islands. Best odds near freshwater points at dawn.

Wildlife breeding centre, Karamjal, Sundarban

Saltwater crocodile

Basks on exposed mudbanks at low tide. The breeding centre at Sajnekhali is the reliable sighting point.

Spotted deer

Chital herds graze the forest edge at dusk — often the first movement spotted from the boat.

Wild honey & hives

Local moulis (honey collectors) work April to June — several packages route past active collection grounds.
